KWIKTAN: Reduced process time for hides of equal quality

This process has been developed and fine tuned in Bulk Production by NPN Technical Staff at several NZ tanneries over the past 12 months. In all cases Matched Sides have been used to evaluate the results, this takes away any Subjective comments about the results.
These matched sides have been evaluated in the Wet Blue and Dyed crust for physical appearance as well as general handle. Analytical testing has also been completed on Grease levels, Physical properties as well as the opening up of the fibre structure. In all cases the KWIKTAN Process (Hair Burn and Hair Save) has performed as well as the Standard conventional process and in most cases has exceeded the standard level of quality achieved with a conventional system.
